8th HenU/INFER Workshop on Applied Macroeconomics - Paper Submission Open

September 12^th to 13^th 2025

From September 12^th to 13^th 2025, the Center for Financial Development and Stability (CFDS) at Henan University and the International Network for Economic Research (INFER) will organize their 8^th annual Workshop on Applied Macroeconomics hosted by Henan University. As always, we invite papers from all fields of applied macroeconomics.

Submission

Please submit your paper or extended abstract by April 15^th, 2025 via conferencemaker, preference will be given to full papers. The authors will be informed about acceptance by May 5^th, 2025. Visit our website for more details and updates:

Special issue

Selected, excellent papers will be considered for a special issue in Macroeconomic Dynamics. Those papers will be subject to additional double blinded peer review.  More details on the submission process will be available on the conference website.

Conference Venue

The conference venue is Henan University's Jinming campus in Kaifeng. Jinming campus is located about 15 minutes away from Kaifeng North Train Station and SongChengLu Train Station. The nearest airport is Xinzheng Airport (CGO) in Zhengzhou (driving distance: 80 km).

 Travel and accommodation

Please arrange your arrival in Kaifeng on September 11^th, since we will schedule presentations all day on September 12^th and 13^th. Jinming campus is surrounded by hotels of all levels starting from about 250 RMB per night. A list of recommended hotels will be published closer to the conference date.

Conference Fee

The conference fee is RMB 800, which must be paid during registration. It includes buffet lunch, coffee breaks, and formal dinners on September 12^th and 13^th.
